- ZPGoGo operates in regions with strict anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. We are committed to cooperating with local financial regulatory authorities. ZPGoGo complies with relevant international standards and local legislation and jurisdictional requirements, strengthens and adjusts our internal control mechanisms, and rigorously combats related illicit activities.
- This policy is formulated and implemented based on, but not limited to, the following international and regional regulations and guidelines:
- The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendations on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) are globally recognized as the international standard for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
- The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and its supplements, including Part III of the USA PATRIOT Act, apply to transactions within the United States and transactions involving the U.S. financial system.
- The EU’s Sixth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (6AMLD) provides unified provisions on the definition of money laundering crimes, corporate responsibility frameworks, and cross-border cooperation mechanisms.
- Hong Kong’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (AMLO) is an important anti-money laundering law under the regulatory framework of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- ZPGoGo also continuously monitors the latest regulatory guidelines and announcements issued by financial authorities in various countries to ensure that its compliance measures are consistent with industry best practices.
Transaction monitoring and evaluation
- We provide regular Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance training to all employees involved in handling user funds and data, and have established a dedicated compliance team responsible for reviewing high-risk activities.
- We determine the risk level of each user through specialized risk control strategies as a basis for assessing whether their transactions are unusual.
- We continuously develop and adjust daily transaction and withdrawal limits based on security requirements and actual transaction behavior.
- We rigorously review transactions from countries or regions listed as high-risk by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and implement corresponding risk control measures to ensure the platform’s compliant operation.
- If your account frequently exhibits suspicious activity, we will conduct an assessment to determine whether the related transactions are suspicious.
- If we determine that a transaction is suspicious after assessment, we may take measures such as suspending or rejecting the transaction. If necessary, we will cancel the transaction and report the suspicious activity to the relevant financial intelligence agency; you may not receive notification.
- If we believe that a transaction involves criminal activity or money laundering, we reserve the right to reject the transaction at any stage.
Suspicious user behavior
- When ZPGoGo suspects a customer or third party may be involved in criminal activity, it will assess the potential for money laundering. Here are some examples of suspicious activities that should be reported:
- Customers provide incomplete, untrue, or questionable information, or refuse to provide complete information.
- Frequent small transactions or unusually large transactions.
- Transaction funds originate from countries considered high-risk for money laundering.
- Receiving payments from countries unrelated to the transaction or that seem illogical.
- Requesting refunds after multiple payments, especially requests to transfer funds to third parties.
- Registering or using multiple accounts.
- A sudden surge in customer activity.
- Using non-traditional payment methods (such as prepaid cards, anonymous payment platforms, etc.).
- Frequent refund requests.
ZPGoGo’s rights
- When ZPGoGo suspects a customer or third party may be involved in criminal activity, it will assess the potential for money laundering. Here are some examples of Obtaining and Verifying Customer Information: ZPGoGo has the right to request complete and accurate customer information, including identity information, address, and financial proof, as a basis for verifying customer identity.
- Access to Compliance Tools: ZPGoGo has the right to use compliance monitoring tools, anti-money laundering software, or services to promptly identify and respond to suspicious activities.
- Reporting Suspicious Activities: ZPGoGo has the right to report suspicious transactions to relevant regulatory agencies in accordance with local anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
- Implementing Risk Management Measures: ZPGoGo has the right to take appropriate additional measures based on the risk assessment results, such as requesting more detailed customer background information or increasing the frequency of transaction monitoring.suspicious activities that should be reported:
ZPGoGo’s Obligations
- Continuous Transaction Monitoring: ZPGoGo is obligated to monitor customer transaction activities, especially high-frequency, unusually large transactions, or transactions originating from high-risk regions, and to retain relevant records.
- Data Protection and Confidentiality: ZPGoGo is obligated to protect the security of customer information and transaction data and to strictly comply with data protection laws.
- Retention of Transaction Records: ZPGoGo is obligated to retain transaction records for a certain period as required by law, in preparation for potential future audits or regulatory inspections.
- Cooperation with Regulatory Inspections or Investigations: ZPGoGo must cooperate with regulatory inspections or investigations, including providing necessary documents, transaction records, and other relevant information.
